DT Samples & Paul’s shirt!

Hey Paul Church stop leaving your clothes in my Craft Room!!!!

Ha ha – actually Paul has always liked a “loud” shirt and I think they look great. Well done on your Sell Out Paul.

So what about me, well not sure what happened today? I dropped my Daughter off at School, took Skye for a really long walk on the Beach came back had a cuppa and fell to sleep!!!!! For 2 hours! My poor neglected Daughter had messaged me asking for a lift home from school because it was pouring down and there I was Asleep whilst watching HOCHANDA?? Of course I said if she had actually phoned I might have had more chance of responding? Mmmm????

So Probably a bit late with this Blog because all the HOCHANDA TV Shows are over but hopefully I might manage to give some ideas to someone who actually bought the Stamps?

There were some lovely sets of stamps on over the weekend don’t you think? Old and New.

I decorated some of the Clarity Acrylic Shapes with Tina’s Stamps but then I spoilt it by adding Glossy Accents to make the back image stand out more, but I think it had the opposite effect.

Mind you this acrylic shape was already half decorated when I picked it up, I had a play with a few of them a while back. But then I added Gilding Flakes etc. I would use a lighter coloured Alcahol Ink if starting from scratch, for instance that blue in the top here looks just right, so does the pink on the left hand side.

I think this one looks better in “Real Life” but you get the gist of it. It’s a quick fun Tag that gives you the chance to doodle and colour while you make it individual to each person. Using Colour that is.
This little bird has sat on top of each of these cards I think? I coloured him and cut him out and really liked him, but couldn’t decide what to do next. So I thought ah just fiddle about with the stamps over an old Gel Print. I love the stars on the edge like that.
This Angel was a pleasure to colour in. Again I got an old Gel Print out for the background. I often cut Gel Prints down to size ready for Toppers or Stamping on top – Instant cards type of thing.
I am heavily into making my own wrapping paper, have been for a few years now. I get some of my images printed on top wrapping paper rolls but I also like to grab a piece of copy paper for those smaller presents and do a bit of Repeat Pattern. If you have a bigger present you can tape two pages together.
I enjoyed messing around, I mean Professionally Making this card! I have a thing about Flat Cards, they bother me. Not if other people make them, but if I do, I always pat myself on the back then think, Mmmm Just a bit of Glossy Accents????
These are made from the Clarity Designer Card. I always like to slip some of these into my designs just to show how quick and easy it is to make Cards, Tags and Matching Gift Tags if you are in a hurry, or just because the Artwork is done for you, all you need to do is the finishing touches. We all like the Finishing Touches bit at the end don’t we? You could even stamp up the 8” by 8” Matching papers for wrapping paper, or overlap a few sheets.
Nearly there, I have a lot to show this time don’t I? This is one that I transferred over to one of my Workshops. I knew my Mixed Media Crew would enjoy making this one because I enjoyed making it. It a great stamp.
Ah well I threw all sorts at this one! And yet look how much white I managed to keep in in, good for me that! A bit of Abstract from the Gel Plate and Spray Inks etc. This is the type of stamp that just need to be a centrepiece don’t you think?
Well this is an easy way to make a Collage isn’t it!!
Actually I wanted to show you my New Phone Case. It’s from an original Design I did on my IPad, I have manipulated the image into a pattern and changed the colour on a few of the images. It’s another Hobby of Mine. I was really pleased with it, its good quality too, which I didn’t expect. I don’t know why I like this image so much, I just do?
So, its Goodnight from Skye and its Good Night From me! – no she isn’t allowed to sleep there!!!!!
