Video Vlog – Claritystamp DT Samples

Hello there. If you read my last Blog you will understand this – I FINALLY GOT MY VIDEO UPLOADED.

This is made using the Clarity Stampboard Frames & Panels – They come in all different sizes and you can get them in sets too.

I haven’t put the video on here though, it is on my YouTube Chanel. I will post a link at the end of this Blog.

Again I used the Stamboard Frames and Panels – these are a game changer really for making your work into something useful, or sellable. We don’t always just want to make cards do we?

So this type of video is something I have just started to do for several reasons, one of which is because sometimes just showing a photo of a card doesn’t really show the work that might have gone into it, or the atmosphere of it. Also I don’t seem to have too much time to make the Tutorials or Workshops that I would have like to have been making – partly because Technology keeps holding me back. So I thought as I spend so long trying to take good photos of my Samples I may as well video the process so that I had backup if all my photos were on the “wonk” which is usually the case.

I love to paint the frames Black and then stamp over the top of them. Sometimes in Ink so you just get this shiny image when it catches the light, and sometimes in Paint like the one above so that it stands out as part of the design.

So then I thought, well if I am videoing this process I may as well talk about the Samples at the same time and I could share that with whoever is interested. I often get told by people that they like it when I share my thought processes on Video demonstrations or tutorials.

On my YouTube Chanel I will be building a kind of Vlog within my Videos. So I hope you enjoy this type of thing. Real comments would be appreciated. Am I wasting my time, do you like it, do you like but……. you know good healthy criticism – I can take it!!!!!!

Once I started to play with these Frames I couldn’t stop. I love to decorate things, and when I put the Frames and the stampboard and Frames together with the Clarity Shapes, well you could just carry on playing for days – the possibilities are endless.

I know tutorial videos are the best thing to do and I still intend to do them. I have a large backlog of bits and bobs of video which I am trying to make some sort of sense of.

If you watch the video on the link below you will soon learn how much I enjoyed making this Canvas above. I don’t stop talking about it. For me it isn’t necessarily the finished result, its the fun you have on the way, and the possibilities of how much better I could do on the next one. Initially I wasn’t going to put the outer frame on it, I wanted the shapes to “hang off the edge” but it wouldn’t have been practical for posting. Also it wouldn’t have looked right on TV, but it would have worked up on a wall. So I decided to use the bigger frame just to showcase it, but I do actually like it that way too.

If you LOVE using stamps, then this is the set you should have sitting on your desk on a regular basis. Ha ha sounds like an advert doesn’t it, well I do work for Claritystamp, but the comments are coming from me as Consumer as well as a DT Member.

Gel Print with Stamps embedded and stamped on top. Cut out using Clarity Dies. What I call an “Art Card”. It doesn’t have to have a reason the sentiment inside gives you that.

Of course I couldn’t use these Stamps without getting a Gel Print in there, but I have a lot more ideas where that is concerned. Watch this space.
