Stuck on the Internet

Hello there. Its been one of those days – you know the ones where you end up jumping from Face Book to messenger to pinterest to Youtube and back again!!! Several times. I came in my craft room this morning to do a bit of painting and haven’t even got my paint out yet!!! And its bedtime! Its just the way it goes sometimes isn’t it. But it is nice to catch up with people and events etc.

My TO DO List has turned into an “I DIDN’T DO List”! Onward and Upward.

Tomorrow my IPad isn’t even leaving its charging stand, nor is my phone. I need to get crafty!!!

So while I am here I may as well try and catch up on showing you some of my DT cards. I am a little behind in showing them. But then again, I haven’t been making as many as I normally do because I have been away a lot this year, the kids are both Teenagers and we have been catching up on the Garden etc! Just how it is. I am glad I got all those bits done in the Garden and House ready for Winter though, when I say I, I mean us, we, my Brother In Laws etc. The Garden is much brighter with the extra decking at the back, we have our lights in ready for the Xmas Deck Party and New Year Deck Party and a Summer House built on it in case it rains!!! Sorted for the Party season. – as for the Kids, well they are still teenagers so, although I intend to really tuck into trying to make some brand new card designs, with new ideas and techniques over the Winter, I will probably still just be at the beck and call of my TEENAGERS!!!! Paul is away for a massive chunk of the year but he does take over when he comes home.

I thought it was great when my kids became self-watering and self-feeding and even better when they started to offer me cups of tea and even “Make the tea”! But they are still a time consuming item to have in the house!!!! Ha ha kidding I love my kids to bitssssssss…………..

So I will keep this short- ish.

I will work backwards showing you cards from todays show on HOCHANDA with Maria, Barbara’s show last week and keep going until my Blog starts to freeze up on me.

I love this stamp and wish I had more time with it.
Its one of those stamps that gives you plenty of play using simple Mixed Media Techniques
I decided to make a matching backing too and not lay it out flat for a change when Matting onto card.

Well you can’t bear a messy background can you?
I was off on my way to to Port Sunlight so I d don’t have a lot of time.

The thing is, I knew I would be in the Studio for this show – so no pressure there then?

I made this Tag background but couldn’t finish it off, until this Butterly came along.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s OK to repeat my Demoes for my own use.
Just a messy Gel Print for a colourful butterfly.
Grungy backgrounds done from clean up from the Gel Plate are often the best for stamping on.
I love to repeat stamp to bake a foreground and background at the same time.

I have been playing with watercolour Techniques a lot over the last year.

I am really pleased with this backing Paper I made and the Sepia inked images.

These Acorns especially have so much depth to them.

Again I played with my Inks and water for this background.

I just think this Stamp looks lovely all by itself.

I made this one with Alcohol Inks on the Clarity Glossy Card.
I didn’t quite get this one to where I wanted it to go. Again I did t have much time.

I think this is one of my Favourites. I just switched off completely here and got lost in the process.

I always try to get clear mind when I am making my DT cards but sometimes it just doesn’t happen.

This card could have gone either way, literally ha, until I put the words on it.
