Well that title sounds exciting doesn’t it, click bate maybe? No not really just trying to grab your interest so you will go to my Website, and then onto my Youtube Channel so that I will then have your attention the next time I upload another “Making of a DT Card” Tutorial- ish type video.
I often struggle with technology, but boy when you have old Hacked accounts to try and ignore as you make new almost identical accounts it just becomes very confusing.
It also confused me when I ended up with my “wear your heart on your sleeve” video directly posted to Youtube instead of directed to you via this Website. We will get there.
So this Blog IS about crafting but it is my Personal Blog too and its a way for me to vent my feelings sometimes, and to talk through what’s in my head. I have been a Blogger off and on for 13 years I started off with my own Hub, do you remember them? I have always felt it helped me to write things down. Thats why I call myself a Vlogger, though my kids say “Mam you are not a Vlogger”! But I think they are wrong. You don’t have to be YOUNG or trendy or loud or making lots of money to be a Vlogger – I was Blogging before half of these “Influensers” were born. Don’t get me wrong. I think they are very clever and have brought Blogging to a whole new level, one of which is that a Blogger becomes a Vlogger when they incorporate, Blog, Youtube, and Product or Travel into the same Vlog. It has to be honest and open or people see right through you. If you are being paid to showcase products you have to let your followers know, and if you are not genuine your followers will see right through you and take you down, so to speak.
Well before I can feel comfortable with becoming a true Vlogger I need to wear my heart on my sleeve and that is just what I did in the second video linked on here, this is an unedited clip – the fourth time of trying to say a lot less of this without crying. But eventually I realised I had to cry, I had to show how I was feeling, for myself really, before I truly feel comfortable sitting on this Blog and purely talking about Crafting. So I will attach the link from my Youtube, obviously people who don’t know me may not want to watch this and no-one is obliged to watch, you could just wait for the next video link below – which actually IS me making a DT Card, turned into a kind of tutorial.
It took a lot to decide to put this first video out there at all, I didn’t plan to make it, it just kept happening when I tried to talk on my tutorial, so I definitely didn’t intend to put it straight onto Youtube instead of here!! But its done, we all know where I stand and I will not be so personal on a video again. I will keep you informed though over the next 1 or 2 years or however long this will take to come to a close. But right Now I need my Crafting to Concentrate on and so does this Blog – Vlog!
