I thought I would show you some of my Samples for the @Claritystamp Shows this weekend on @HOCHANDA TV

    I didn’t manage to get samples made for all the sets, it wasn’t a great week for me for many reasons. All is fine though and almost back to normal. I say almost because we are not sure what the new Normal is yet.

    My household seems quite empty at the moment. My Son is at Uni, my Daughter is back to school, again! and my Hubbie Paul is back to work, in Africa. We have had a few isolation periods and close contact with people who have had Covid (but we didn’t get it, thankfully). Paul and Matthew have had Tests done, all OK. Now it seems like everyone is gone again and its just me.

    It’s not just me, I have a teenage Daughter, so in a way it is?? Anyone with Teenage Kids will understand. She’s a good Kid though! She made the most of the Halloween weekend with your friends, they are all in a Bubble. They watch outdoor movies on a Projector from a 3 Bedroom Tent. It’s nice to see the Kids enjoying themselves.

    I still have Skye who follow’s me from room to room. EXCEPT on the day she decided enough was enough! We got a new Settee for our new sized room (we had to shrink it when we gave ourselves a hallway. It all seems more balanced now though, I think the house should have had a hallway in the first place. Anyway I always had a Retro half Corner settee in mind for my new Living Space. Finally we got it, a lovely fabric settee instead of Leather for a change. We have ALWAYS had Leather Settees. They are great for kids and dogs but I wanted a change. I wanted a change last time we got a Settee!

    So, needless to say Skye has never been allowed on this settee, but she is allowed on the “retired” settee in the dining room.

    She went along with it, never even tried to get up. Then a few months ago she started to do the Telepathy messages thing, you know, where they look at the settee, look at you, look at the settee, look at you! No, I say not this one Skye! So she would skulk off to her luxurious Dog Bed!!!! Then I noticed that we all had the same favourite seat on the settee (we didn’t all sit on it at the same time though) so I put a matching throw on it to protect that over used bit of the Settee.

    Well Skye’s face lit up, if there is a Throw on a Seat she is allowed to sit on it! No, I said, not for you! She skulked off to her own Leather 4 Seater Sofa!!!

    Then yesterday I found this!!!!

    The moment I caught her! Look how chilled out she is!

    For Months now I have been waiting for this! I knew she had been thinking about it. It’s funny, when we first got it we didn’t even say she couldn’t go on it? She seemed to just know! She had a plan all along.

    So anyway back to the show on Friday. I will show you the samples I made for this show for the new Impressions Stamps along with some I made a while ago when the Poppy Stamps were first brought out.

    I play with these stamps almost the same way as I would my Gel Plate, or the Three way Stamps. Going back in again and again with Inks or Paint to get a good grungy edge, and a splash of colour in the middle.
    I know these are background stamps but to me often the background is the best bit of a project, I love to make backgrounds. It is OK the make the Background the Forefront if you want to!!! Ha ha there is a tongue twister for you eh.
    There are so many colour combinations you could have with these Mixed Impressions stamps you could go on forever. In fact I did, I have a little pile I left in my Craft Room ready to use with other projects. Here I added in the Love Framer Stamp too, I thought it went perfectly with this background. Don’t you just love that Cupid Stamp?
    What makes a little piece of Art a Card? Words. These Word Stickers and a stack of background stamps could keep me going for a very long time. I mean I didn’t even get my white Pen out yet?
    This is one I did earlier with the Poppy Stamp Set
    Sadly when these Stamps were brought out there had been Terrorist attacks in Paris. So I made this card as a Symbol to show support for the people of Paris/France. Sadly as they are brought out again, there have been new Terrorist Attacks in France, so the same Support Stands. X
    This is a little Gallery of some of my other Cards that have been on the Clarity Shows this weekend. There are still more to show too, from Tina’s New Stamps. So, I will quickly Blog them on their own for Tomorrow.

    This set of Stencils which have just appeared on the show are my all time Favourites I get them out time and time again because they are so easy to use. Especially the Stripe and Zig Zag, I have used them in a few of my Claritystamp YouTube Videos.

    Well I am off now because I have a ton of projects to get on with. I will be watching Barbara and Paul on HOCHANDA TV at 9am 12 and 4pm Xx Will you be watching?

    I have slept half the afternoon today, I felt so tired? So I am a bit behind, I had a lot to do today. Still, I’m not really going anywhere for the next few weeks am I?
