Oh What A Palava

This was me prepping my Workspace and Myself – ready to video myself Prepping for my Debut on HOCHANDA tV with My Stamp and Stencil Designs – in the photos are Barbara Gray, And Lucy who worked with me on my Designs and Yiannis the Presenter who got me through the show.

BUT BEFORE THEN…………

As I have been wanting to be a Vlogger of sorts for many many years – when they were still called Vloggers? I decided to video myself prepping for my show so that I could post the videos into my website and YouTube Channel after the event.

So I watched my video and I waited……. and waited…….. and waited……… for the part in this video where I actually start to demonstrate>………………… well this is what I found, it made me laugh – hey a few years ago I wouldn’t even show my face in camera and here I am without any make-up – so I hope it makes you smile at least, me I was crying laughing but maybe that’s because it’s me? Anyway here it is…….

Oh and Leonie if you are watching this is lesson No.2 xxx

Enjoy

  1. Love it, Sam, and I love the shows too! Sorry I’m only just getting around to watching it, the link has been in my Fb saves since you posted it! Can I ask where you got your phone stand from? I use my laptop camera to do my Fb lives, but always look at the comments via my phone when the laptop screen is down, and one of those would be so helpful!
PS… I’ve just subscribed to your blog to make up for my tardy timing!
    Hugs xoxo

  2. This did make me laugh – procraftination at its best! You did really well on your shows Sam. I had to record them as I was busy, so missed out on your stamps, but will get them from Clarity directly. I covered a little re-purposed journal the other day with a piece of inky scrap, all ready for when the stamps arrive – it’s only been on my desk for about 2 years!!!

    1. That’s great. Sometimes we just need one idea to move that old stock don’t we. I have started decorating some of my small boxes again and have decided to use them in workshops. Its so easy with my stamps. I hope you enjoy them when you get hold of them.

  3. It’s very healthy to be able to laugh at oneself and you clearly don’t take yourself too seriously – good on ya! All the added sound effects add to the humour too – it’s great to see someone with some editing skills, makes a refreshing change from so many of the videos posted to YouTube.
Intrigued by the stand you were using for the phone – looks much more stable than the mini tripod I have. I may have to investigate further …
